Method

Hamburger

  1. 1

    Prepare the beef mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Shape the patties

Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the burger

On each hamburger bun, place a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, the cooked patty with melted cheese, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 6

    Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 7

    Prepare the potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  3. 8

    Coat with oil

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.

  4. 9

    Bake the fries

Spread the potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
