Cooking Directions

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Grease four ramekins with butter and lightly dust with cocoa powder.

2

Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt them together over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth.

3

Mix Sugar and Eggs

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until the mixture is pale and fluffy.

4

Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring continuously. Add the vanilla extract and salt, followed by the flour, and mix until just combined.

5

Pour into Ramekins

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.

6

Bake

Bake the cakes in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.

7

Serve

Let the cakes cool for 1 minute, then invert them onto plates. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with rich chocolate ganache.
