Wings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss the wings in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully place the breaded wings in the hot oil, working in batches if necessary. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- 5
Drain and Toss
Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with your choice of sauce (hot sauce, apple BBQ, sweet Thai chili, honey garlic, ghost pepper, Cajun, or salt and pepper) until evenly coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve the wings hot with your choice of dipping sauces on the side.
