Method

Brownies

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, Oil Change Oatmeal Stout, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. 5

    Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.

  6. 6

    Bake the Brownies

Spread the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

    Cool the Brownies

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Scoop Ice Cream

Once the brownies are completely cool, cut them into squares. Place a brownie square at the bottom of a serving bowl.

  2. 9

    Add Ice Cream

Scoop Arbuckle’s ice cream and place it on top of the brownie.

  3. 10

Top with Whipped Cream and Syrup

Generously top the ice cream with whipped cream, then drizzle with chocolate syrup.

  4. 11

    Serve

Serve immediately with extra spoons for sharing!
