Method

Preparation of the Dip

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Sauté Spinach

In a large skillet over medium heat, add chopped spinach and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

  4. 4

    Add Spinach

Fold the sautéed spinach into the cheese mixture until evenly incorporated.

  5. 5

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Spread the dip mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish, smoothing out the top.

  6. 6

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.

Garnishing and Serving

  1. 7

    Prepare Garnish

While the dip is baking, prepare the garnishes by halving the cherry tomatoes and slicing the green onions.

  2. 8

    Serve

Once the dip is out of the oven and slightly cooled, garnish with halved cherry tomatoes and sliced green onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
