Method
Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Begin by trimming the chicken breast of any excess fat and cutting it into finger-sized strips. Season the chicken strips with salt and black pepper, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Breading Mixture
- 2
Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with green chili beer, and the last with bread crumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken strip in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the green chili beer, allowing the excess to drip off, and finally coat it in the seasoned bread crumbs. Place the breaded chicken fingers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Frying the Chicken
- 4
Cook the Chicken Fingers
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken fingers in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Dipping Sauces
- 5
Serve with Dipping Sauces
Arrange the chicken fingers on a serving platter and serve with a selection of dipping sauces: ranch, hot wing sauce, honey mustard, ranch salsa, chipotle mayo, and BBQ sauce.
