Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Mix until a dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  2. 6

    Prepare Garlic Oil

In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

  3. 7

    Roll Out Dough

After the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out into a 12-inch circle.

  4. 8

    Add Garlic Oil

Brush the rolled dough with the garlic oil mixture, ensuring even coverage.

  5. 9

    Add Cheeses

Sprinkle the shredded Asiago, Parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar, and jack cheese evenly over the pizza base.

  6. 10

    Bake Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or hot pizza stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.

  7. 11

    Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
