Burger Patty
Chokes 'n Cheese Topping
Burger Assembly
Method
Prepare the Burger Patty
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- 3
Prepare Chokes 'n Cheese Topping
- 4
Mix the Topping
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped artichoke hearts, softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix until well blended and creamy.
- 5
Heat the Topping
Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and heat over low heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
Assemble the Burger
- 6
Toast the Buns
If desired, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- 7
Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a burger patty, a slice of tomato, and a generous spoonful of the Chokes 'n Cheese topping. Add pickles on top.
- 8
Finish and Serve
Place the top half of the bun on the assembled burger and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
