Method
Dough Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix well to ensure the yeast is evenly distributed throughout the flour.
- 2
Add Wet Ingredients
Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the warm water and olive oil. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture starts to come together.
- 3
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as needed.
- 4
Let the Dough Rise
Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Assembly and Baking
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure it's hot enough for baking the pizza.
- 6
Shape the Dough
After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- 7
Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices. Finish with a sprinkle of dried oregano and grated Parmesan cheese.
- 8
Bake the Pizza
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- 9
Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
