Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon Strips

In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon strips. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Add Cheese

After flipping the burger patties, place a slice of cheese on each patty. Cover and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  2. 7

    Toast the Buns

While the cheese is melting, you can toast the burger buns on the grill or in a separate skillet until golden brown.

  3. 8

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese, bacon strips, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
