Preparation
- 1
Make the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool.
- 2
Prepare the Ganache
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the heavy cream to a simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.
- 3
Assemble the Pie
Pour the chocolate ganache into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- 4
Serve
Once set, slice the pie and serve chilled. Optionally, you can top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings.
