Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Shrimp
In a large bowl, season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
Set Up Dredging Stations
In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in the first, whisk the eggs in the second, and add the breadcrumbs to the third.
Dredge the Shrimp
Take each shrimp and coat it in flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs. Ensure each shrimp is fully covered.
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).
Fry the Shrimp
Carefully add the breaded shrimp to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Cook the Fries
While the shrimp are frying, prepare the frozen fries according to the package instructions.
Serve
Serve the camarones empanizados hot with fries on the side.
