Method
Coconut Washed Bourbon
- 1
Prepare Coconut Washed Bourbon
In a mixing glass, combine 2 tablespoons of coconut oil with 1 cup of warm water. Stir until the coconut oil is melted and fully incorporated into the water. Add 2 ounces of bourbon to the mixture and stir gently. Let it sit for about 30 minutes at room temperature.
- 2
Separate the Oil
After resting, place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the coconut oil solidifies. Once solidified, remove the layer of coconut oil and discard it. The bourbon will now have a subtle coconut flavor.
