Method

Preparing the Burger

1

Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground venison, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.

2

Form Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making sure they are about ¾ inch thick.

3

Chill Patties

Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.

Cooking the Burger

4

Preheat Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium heat.

5

Cook Patties

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

6

Toast Buns

While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Assembling the Burger

7

Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.

8

Finish Assembly

Top with the other half of the bun, press gently, and your venison burger is ready to serve.
