Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- 2
Drain Excess Fat
Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the skillet and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess fat.
- 3
Prepare the Gouda
While the bacon is cooking, slice the Smoked Gouda Cheese into thin slices or shred it, depending on your preference.
- 4
Mix the Mayo
In a small bowl, measure out 4 tablespoons of Duke's Mayo. You can adjust this amount to taste.
Assembly
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
On a serving plate or in a sandwich, layer the crispy bacon slices followed by the smoked Gouda cheese.
- 6
Add the Mayo
Spread the Duke's Mayo generously over the bacon and cheese layers.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately while the bacon is warm, allowing the melted Gouda to enhance the flavors.
