Burger Steak

Roasted Garlic Aioli

Method

Burger Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry-aged Angus beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger steaks.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the burger steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.

Farmhaus Salad Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, grilled sweet onion (sliced), and diced tomato.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine and ensure all ingredients are well coated.

Roasted Garlic Aioli Preparation

  1. 6

    Roast the Garlic

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until soft. Let cool, then squeeze the garlic from the skins.

  2. 7

    Make the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine the roasted garlic, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
