Method
Preparing the Patties
- 1
For Beef Patties
Form the dry-aged Angus beef into two equal patties, about 1/2 lb each. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 2
For Chicken Patties
Pound the chicken breast to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3
For Turkey Patties
Form the ground turkey into two equal patties, about 1/2 lb each. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 4
For Veggie Patties
If using store-bought veggie patties, no preparation is needed. If homemade, form the mixture into patties and season as desired.
Cooking the Patties
- 5
Grilling
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through, turkey for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through, and veggie patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until heated through.
- 6
Adding Cheese
If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Constructing the Burger
On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty of your choice. Add tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, and your choice of sauces (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise) before topping with the other half of the bun.
