Method

Grilling the Wahoo

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Wahoo

Place the wahoo fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Wahoo

Place the marinated wahoo on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing the Slaw

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro.

  2. 6

    Dress the Slaw

Drizzle the lime juice over the slaw and season with salt and pepper. Toss well to combine and set aside.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 7

    Warm the Tortillas

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Tacos

Place a piece of grilled wahoo on each tortilla, top with the seasonal slaw, and add slices of avocado.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve the tacos warm with lime wedges on the side.
