Toppings
Method
Preparing the Brioche French Toast
- 1
Mix the Custard
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- 2
Soak the Bread
Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side. Make sure the bread is well-coated but not overly soggy.
- 3
Cook the Toast
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the soaked brioche slices and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with remaining slices.

- 6
Add Bourbon
Carefully pour the bourbon into the pan and let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the bananas are coated.
Serving

Plate the French Toast
Place the cooked brioche French toast on serving plates.
- 8
Add Toppings
Top with bourbon-glazed bananas foster, or drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle fresh berries over the top as desired.
