Prepare the Apples
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel, core, and slice the British apples into small pieces. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

Sweeten the Apples
Add 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar to the sliced apples and toss until well coated. Set aside.

Make the Crumble Topping
In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of rolled oats, 0.5 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 0.25 teaspoon of nutmeg. Mix well.

Incorporate the Butter
Melt 0.5 cup of unsalted butter and pour it into the crumble mixture. Stir until the mixture is crumbly and well combined.

Assemble the Crumble
In a baking dish, spread the sweetened apples evenly at the bottom. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.

Bake
Bake the crumble in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.

Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of whole milk, 0.75 cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and 0.5 teaspoon of sea salt until the sugar is dissolved.

Chill the Mixture
Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill thoroughly.

Churn the Soft Serve
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft serve consistency.

Serve or Freeze
Serve the soft serve immediately or transfer it to a container and freeze for a firmer texture.
