Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Water

Start by boiling 250 ml of fresh, filtered water in a kettle. Ensure the water reaches a temperature of approximately 90-95°C (194-203°F) for optimum extraction of flavors from the Oolong tea leaves.

  2. 2

    Measure the Tea Leaves

While the water is boiling, measure out 2 teaspoons of Ali Shan Oolong tea leaves and place them in a tea infuser or directly into your teapot.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Once the water has reached the desired temperature, pour it over the tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your preference for strength. A shorter steeping time will yield a lighter flavor, while a longer steeping time will intensify the taste.

  4. 4

    Strain and Serve

After steeping, if you used loose tea leaves, strain the tea into a cup or teapot. If you used an infuser, simply remove it from the water.

  5. 5

    Add Flavor Enhancements (optional)

If desired, stir in 1 teaspoon of honey for sweetness and add a slice of lemon for a refreshing twist. Adjust to taste.
