Method
Pork Belly Preparation
Season the Pork Belly
Rub the pork belly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika evenly on all sides.
Slow Cook the Pork Belly
Place the seasoned pork belly in a slow cooker. Pour in the apple cider vinegar. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
Crisp the Pork Belly
Once cooked, remove the pork belly from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes. Preheat a skillet over medium heat, add butter, and sear the pork belly on all sides until crispy.
Slaw Preparation
Mix Slaw Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well combined.
Chill the Slaw
Cover the slaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Slider Assembly
Prepare the Slider Buns
Slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly if desired.
Assemble the Sliders
Place a generous portion of the crispy pork belly on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a spoonful of slaw and a few pickle slices. Close the sliders with the top half of the bun.
