Method
Cooking the Patty

Form the Patty
Take 8 oz of ground beef and form it into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

Flip and Melt Cheese
Flip the patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to let it melt.
Assembling the Burger

Prepare the Bun
Slice the burger bun in half and toast it lightly if desired.

Add the Patty
Once the patty is cooked and the cheese is melted, place the patty on the bottom half of the bun.

Layer the Toppings
Add the lettuce leaf, tomato slice, onion slice, and pickles on top of the patty.

Finish the Burger
Cover the burger with the top half of the bun. Press down gently to hold everything together.
