Method
Buffalo Cauliflower Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into small florets. Make sure they are of similar size for even cooking.
- 3
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix until smooth.
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
- 5
Bake the Cauliflower
Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- 6
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
Remove the cauliflower from the oven and immediately toss with buffalo sauce in a large bowl until well coated.
- 7
Final Bake
Return the sauced cauliflower back to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to crisp up the sauce.
Ranch Dipping Sauce Preparation
- 8
Mix the Ingredients
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper.
- 9
Whisk Until Smooth
Whisk the mixture until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 10
Chill the Sauce
Cover and refrigerate the ranch dipping sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
