Brussels Sprouts
House-made Sauce
Method
Brussels Sprouts Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim the stem ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise.
- 2
Fry the Brussels Sprouts
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the halved Brussels sprouts cut side down. Season with salt and black pepper. Fry for about 6-8 minutes or until the cut sides are golden brown and the Brussels sprouts are tender, stirring occasionally.
House-made Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and honey. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Adjust the spiciness by adding more Sriracha if desired.
Assembly
- 4
Plate the Dish
Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked, remove them from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate. Drizzle the house-made sauce generously over the Brussels sprouts. Serve immediately.
