Açaí Base
Soften & Prep
If using frozen açaí packets that are rock-hard, run the sealed packet under cool water for 10–20 seconds to slightly loosen. Peel and slice the fresh banana (1 cup frozen or 1 fresh sliced for blending).
Blend
In a high-speed blender, add the frozen açaí puree (200 g), frozen banana (1 cup) and 120 ml almond milk. Add 1 tablespoon honey or agave. Pulse first to break up large pieces, then blend on high until smooth and thick. The mixture should be spoonable (not pourable). If too thick, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time; if too thin, add a few frozen banana pieces or a bit more açaí.
Taste and adjust sweetness. If you prefer sweeter, add up to 1 more teaspoon honey/agave and blend briefly.
Fruit Toppings
Prepare the fresh fruit: slice 1 banana and 4 strawberries; measure out blueberries and blackberries. Arrange them attractively on top of the açaí base once it’s in the bowl.
For even slices: slice strawberries into thin vertical slices and fan them; place banana slices in a line or circle; scatter blueberries and blackberries evenly.
Crunch & Garnish
Spoon 60 g granola over one side of the bowl for crunch. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon shredded coconut across the top and 1 teaspoon chia seeds if using.
Finish with a light drizzle of the optional 1 teaspoon honey or agave for added gloss and sweetness.
Serve immediately with a spoon so the base remains thick and cold.
