Oxtail Cream Sauce

Cooking the Pasta

Cook the Pappardelle
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pappardelle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Oxtail Cream Sauce

Prepare the Protein
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the oxtail (or your choice of shrimp, salmon, or grilled chicken) and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cream Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Season the Sauce
Add cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the sauce. Stir well and allow to simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

Combine and Finish
Return the cooked protein to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked pappardelle and toss gently to combine and heat through.
