Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Garlic and Tomatoes

Stir in the minced garlic and diced tomatoes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

  3. 3

Incorporate Bell Pepper, Carrot, and Zucchini

Add the chopped bell pepper, diced carrot, and zucchini. Sauté for an additional 5 minutes until they begin to soften.

Cooking the Soup

  1. 4

    Pour in the Liquids

Pour in the fish stock and white wine. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil.

  2. 5

    Season the Soup

Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. 6

    Add the Seafood

Carefully add the shrimp, calamari, mussels, cod, and clams to the pot. Stir gently and cover the pot.

  4. 7

    Cook the Seafood

Let the soup simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels and clams open and the shrimp turns pink.

Final Touch

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Stir in the chopped parsley and taste for seasoning. Serve hot with crusty bread on the side.
