Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pappardelle
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pappardelle pasta and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Salmon Cooking
- 2
Prepare the Salmon
Season the salmon fillet with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before flaking into large pieces.
Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes. Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Finish the Sauce
Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Combining the Dish
- 5
Combine Everything
Add the cooked pappardelle to the sauce, tossing to coat. Gently fold in the flaked salmon and chopped fresh dill. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
