Cake Preparation

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt. Mix well.

Combine Ingredients
Add the melted chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Finally, stir in the vanilla extract.

Add Caramel Filling
Pour the cake batter into the prepared ramekins, filling each about halfway. Add 2 tablespoons of dulce de leche into the center of each ramekin, then top with more batter until filled about 3/4 full.

Bake the Cakes
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft and molten.

Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool for 1-2 minutes. Carefully invert the ramekins onto plates and tap gently to release the cakes.

Plate the Lava Cakes
Place each molten cake on a dessert plate. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Drizzle with Sauces
Drizzle chocolate sauce and caramel sauce over the cakes and ice cream. Sprinkle with sea salt to enhance the flavors.
