Method

Base Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Filling Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Cream Cheese Filling

In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and the egg, mixing until fully combined and creamy.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 6

    Layer the Mixture

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, pour half of the base mixture, spreading it evenly. Then, pour the cream cheese filling over the base layer, and finish by pouring the remaining base mixture on top.

  2. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  3. 8

    Cool

Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Topping Preparation

  1. 9

    Prepare Topping

In a small bowl, toss the fresh berries with honey or maple syrup to coat them lightly.

  2. 10

    Serve

Once cooled, cut the Revolution 6 into squares, top with the berry mixture, and serve.
