Prepare the Jalapeños
Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. This will help reduce the heat and create a vessel for the filling.

Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, chopped bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Fill the Jalapeños
Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling them generously.

Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with a beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs.

Bread the Jalapeños
Dredge each filled jalapeño in flour, dip in the beaten egg, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs. Ensure they are well-covered.

Fry the Jalapeños
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the breaded jalapeños in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
