Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently until combined, then form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns and Toppings

While the patties are cooking, wash the lettuce and slice the tomato. Cut the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty, a slice of tomato, and a tablespoon of ketchup. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even-sized fries, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat evenly.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
