Preparing the Chicken
- 1
Grilling or Frying the Chicken
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If frying, heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into bite-sized pieces.

Combining Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, start by adding the mixed salad greens as the base. Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them on top of the greens. Next, add the sliced grilled or fried chicken breast, followed by the crumbled applewood bacon. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and croutons over the top.

Dressing the Salad
Drizzle your choice of salad dressing evenly over the salad ingredients. Toss the salad gently to combine all the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring that the dressing coats everything evenly.
