- 3
Bread the Cheese Curds
Take each cheese curd, coat it in the flour, dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Place the breaded cheese curds on a baking sheet and repeat until all curds are breaded.
Frying the Cheese Curds
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to ensure the oil is at the right temperature for frying.
- 5
Fry the Cheese Curds
Carefully add a handful of breaded cheese curds to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve
Serve the fried cheese curds hot with Ernie's Sauce or ranch for dipping.
Dipping Sauce Preparation

Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well until smooth and refrigerate until ready to serve.
