Chicken Wings

Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure the wings cook evenly and become crispy.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This step is crucial for achieving crispy skin.

  3. 3

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until the wings are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, then place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack, making sure they are not touching.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 5

    Bake the Wings

Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Be careful not to let it brown.

  2. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the butter. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Tossing the Wings

  1. 8

    Toss Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss them until they are fully coated.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve the buffalo wings hot with your choice of dipping sauce and celery sticks on the side.
