Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather and prepare all the filling ingredients. If you're using canned black beans, rinse and drain them. Shred the lettuce and cheese. Dice the avocado.
- 2
Warm the Tortilla
Heat the flour tortilla in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.
- 3
Assemble the Burrito
Lay the warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Start by adding 1/2 cup of cooked rice in the center, followed by 1/2 cup of black beans, 1 cup of shredded lettuce, 1 cup of shredded cheese, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, 1 cup of pico de gallo, and 1 cup of cooked meat. Top it off with diced avocado.
- 4
Roll the Burrito
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it from the bottom up, tightly encasing the filling. Ensure the ends are tucked in as you roll.
- 5
Serve
Cut the burrito in half if desired and serve with additional pico de gallo or your favorite salsa.
