White Wine Ingredients

Preparation

White Wine Directions

1. Prepare the Grapes

Wash the white grapes thoroughly and remove the stems. Crush the grapes to release their juice.

2. Fermentation

Transfer the crushed grapes and juice into a fermentation vessel. Add the yeast and sugar, and mix well. Cover the vessel with a cloth and allow it to ferment in a cool, dark place for about 1-2 weeks.

3. Strain the Mixture

Once fermentation is complete, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into another clean vessel to separate the liquid from the solids.

4. Add Water

Add 1 litre of water to the strained liquid and mix well. This helps to dilute the wine to the desired strength.

5. Bottle the Wine

Transfer the wine into clean bottles and seal them. Store in a cool, dark place for aging.

6. Aging

Allow the wine to age for at least 3 to 6 months before tasting. The longer it ages, the better the flavor will develop.
