Brew & prepare

1. Brew coffee

Brew 8 oz of Early Girl blend coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, Aeropress). Use 8 oz hot water and the appropriate coffee dose for a strong, full-flavored cup. Serve immediately while hot.

2. Preheat the serving mug by rinsing briefly with hot water, then discard the rinse.

Assemble the spiked coffee

3. Place the preheated mug on a stable surface. If you like your drink sweetened, add the optional 1 tsp granulated sugar or 1 tsp simple syrup to the bottom of the mug.

4. Pour 1 oz of your chosen liqueur (Bailey’s, Jameson, Kahlúa, Amaretto, or Almande) into the mug.

5. Slowly pour the 8 oz hot brewed Early Girl coffee into the mug over the liqueur and sugar, stirring gently to combine and dissolve the sugar if used.

Finish & serve

6. If desired, top with 2 tbsp whipped cream (dairy or coconut) and sprinkle 1 tsp grated nutmeg or cocoa powder over the cream as a garnish.

7. Serve immediately with a small spoon. Provide a straw or stirrer if preferred so the guest can mix as the cream mellows the drink.
