Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the lettuce leaves and slice the tomato into thin rounds. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Assembly and Cooking

  1. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Take two slices of sourdough bread. Layer each slice with smoked turkey, cheddar cheese, and cooked bacon. Add lettuce and tomato on top, then place another slice of sourdough on top to complete the sandwich.

  2. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

In the same skillet used for the bacon, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich, add the remaining butter, and grill for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  3. 5

    Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve immediately while hot.
