Method

Prepare Taco Bowl

  1. 1

    Prepare Tortilla Bowls

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of each tortilla with olive oil and place them in a muffin tin, shaping them into bowls. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from oven and let cool.

Cook Beef

  1. 2

    Season and Cook Ground Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat, if necessary. Add taco seasoning and water, stirring well. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.

Assemble Salad

  1. 3

    Layer Ingredients

In each tortilla bowl, start by adding a generous amount of romaine lettuce. Top with seasoned beef, followed by an even distribution of cheddar and jack cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced scallions, and black olives. Finally, add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa on top.

    Final Touch

Serve immediately while the tortilla bowls are still crispy and enjoy your delicious taco salad!
