Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by gathering all the ingredients. Slice the tomato into thin rounds and wash the lettuce leaves. Cut the cheddar cheese into slices if not pre-sliced.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess grease.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Spread the Condiments

Take two slices of sourdough bread and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one slice and 1 tablespoon of mustard on the other.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

On the mayonnaise side, layer the smoked turkey, followed by the crispy bacon, and then the cheddar cheese. Top with lettuce and tomato slices.

  3. 5

    Top and Grill the Sandwich

Place the remaining slices of sourdough bread on top, mustard side down, to complete the sandwich. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serving

  1. 6

    Slice and Serve

Once grilled, remove the sandwich from the heat, slice it in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy your smoked brisket sandwich!
