Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat and add 2 black tea bags. Let them steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard.

Adding Raspberry Flavor

  1. 4

    Prepare Raspberries

While the tea is steeping, rinse 1 cup of fresh raspberries under cold water and gently mash them with a fork in a small bowl.

  2. 5

    Combine with Sweetener

Add 2 tablespoons of honey or sugar to the mashed raspberries and mix well until combined.

  3. 6

    Mix into Tea

Add the raspberry mixture to the brewed tea and stir well to incorporate the flavors.

Serving the Tea

  1. 7

    Serve Warm or Cold

You can serve the raspberry tea warm or chilled. If serving cold, let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

  2. 8

    Garnish

When serving, add fresh mint leaves and lemon slices to each glass for added flavor and presentation.
