Main Ingredients

Marinade

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Place the salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

Wash the asparagus and trim the tough ends. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  2. 4

    Grill the Asparagus

Place the asparagus on the grill alongside the salmon. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the asparagus is tender and slightly charred.

Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 5

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add lemon juice and capers. Stir to combine and heat through. Remove from heat and mix in chopped parsley.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the grilled salmon and asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
