Preparing Au Jus

Make the Au Jus
In a medium saucepan, combine beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 2
Simmer
Allow the au jus to simmer for about 10-15 minutes to let the flavors meld. Once done, remove from heat and set aside.
Cooking the Ribeye
- 3
Cook the Ribeye
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the shaved ribeye steak. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.

Assembling the Sandwich
- 5
Prepare the Hoagie Buns
Slice the hoagie buns open, but do not cut all the way through. If desired, toast the buns lightly.
- 6
Fill the Buns
Divide the cheesy ribeye mixture among the hoagie buns, ensuring each bun gets a generous portion.
Serving
