Method

Smoked Wings Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Smoked Wings

In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Toss until wings are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Wings

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the seasoned chicken wings on the smoker rack and smoke for about 1.5 to 2 hours, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Buffalo Wings Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Buffalo Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Fry the Wings

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Carefully add the prepared wings and fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 5

    Make Buffalo Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, stirring until combined. Remove from heat.

  4. 6

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the buffalo sauce until well coated.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Combo Wings

Arrange the smoked wings and buffalo wings on a large platter. Serve with ranch and blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
