Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to prepare for baking the cakes.

Making the Batter

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 170g of semisweet chocolate and 115g of unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

Mix in Sugar
Stir in 100g of powdered sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add 2 large eggs, 1 egg yolk, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the mixture. Whisk until smooth.

Incorporate Dry Ingredients
Sift in 50g of all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt. Gently fold until just combined; do not overmix.

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
