Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it is clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Catfish

Rinse the catfish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Season the Fillets

Rub the olive oil over both sides of the catfish fillets, then generously sprinkle the Cajun seasoning on both sides, pressing it in slightly for better adherence.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Grill the Catfish

Place the seasoned catfish fillets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.

  2. 5

    Check for Doneness

Ensure the internal temperature of the catfish reaches at least 145°F (63°C). Remove the fillets from the grill once cooked.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Place the grilled catfish fillets on a serving plate. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley if desired.

  2. 7

    Serve Warm

Serve the Cajun catfish warm, and enjoy with your favorite sides!
