Method
Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 2
Fry the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
Buffalo Sauce
- 3
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.
- 4
Coat the Chicken
Once the fried chicken has cooled slightly, dip each piece into the buffalo sauce, ensuring it is well coated.
Wrap Assembly
- 5
Prepare the Wrap
Lay the tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and onion in the center.
- 6
Add Chicken
Slice the buffalo-coated chicken breasts and place on top of the vegetables.
- 7
Wrap It Up
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll from the bottom to enclose the filling completely. Cut in half diagonally and serve.
