Method

Prepare the Bruschetta Topping

  1. 1

    Chop the Tomatoes

Dice the fresh tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Basil

Chop the fresh basil leaves finely and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Add Mozzarella

Tear the fresh mozzarella cheese into small pieces and mix them with the tomato and basil mixture.

  4. 4

    Season the Mixture

Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the mixture, then add salt and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.

Prepare the Baguette

  1. 5

    Slice the Baguette

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  2. 6

    Toast the Baguette

Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

  3. 7

    Add Garlic Flavor

Once toasted, rub the cut side of the garlic clove over the top of the baguette slices for added flavor.

Assemble the Bruschetta

  1. 8

    Top the Baguette

Remove the baguette slices from the oven and spoon the tomato, basil, and mozzarella mixture generously onto each slice.

  2. 9

    Serve Immediately

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the baguette is still warm. Enjoy!
